• Device information: IP address, browser type, device type, and language preferences, collected automatically. Your IP address is stored on our servers for up to 72 hours and may be used to associate your activity across different pages on our service.
• Usage data: Session identifiers and conversation history stored in your browser's local storage to maintain your chat experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the chat experience, including processing your messages to generate responses.
• To send SMS notifications and follow-up messages if you opt in.
• To associate your activity across pages on our service in order to personalize your experience.
• To measure advertising effectiveness by sharing hashed identifiers with advertising platforms including TikTok.
• To monitor and diagnose technical errors in order to improve service reliability.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following categories of third-party services:

• Cloudflare: Website hosting, content delivery, and security.
• TikTok: We share hashed identifiers and event data (such as chat interactions) with TikTok's Events API for advertising conversion measurement. TikTok processes this data under its own privacy policy.
• Chat service: Your chat messages are sent to a third-party service to generate responses.
• SMS provider: Your phone number is shared with a telecommunications provider to deliver text messages.

5. SMS Communications

If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from Mia Voss, including follow-up messages related to your chat conversation. Providing your phone number is optional and is not a condition of using the service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us at mia@thegosen.com. Reply HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Data Retention

• Chat messages: Retained on our servers for up to 72 hours, then automatically deleted.
• Phone numbers: Retained on our servers to prevent duplicate messages and for advertising measurement purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).
• IP addresses: Retained on our servers for up to 72 hours.
• Local storage: Session data and conversation history are stored in your browser until you clear your browser data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your personal data from our systems.
• Withdraw consent for SMS communications at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
• Request that we stop sharing your data with advertising platforms.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

Our website uses local storage in your browser to save your session identifier and conversation history. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers except as described above.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure server infrastructure to protect your information.
